Eligibility

- Each entry must be submitted online by Wednesday 22 July 2026, 5pm. Entries received after this date will not be considered and appeals will not be entertained.
- Please prepare the following documents before filling up the application form.
- The registration fee, practice session fee and any overpayment are non-refundable, and non-transferable.
- A notification of acceptance of your entry to the Competition, together with a copy of the music scores of the set pieces will be provided, by mail, by the Organiser within 6 weeks of upon receipt of completed registration documents.
- The Organiser reserves the right to reject entries which are incomplete or inaccurate.
Junior, Intermediate & Senior Categories
- 1 recent passport size photo of the registered participant.
- 1 set of music scores of the participant’s choice of music piece(s), in PDF. Please ensure the composers’ names and titles of the music pieces can be clearly seen and there is no other marking (except if there is excerpt and needs to be clearly marked). Applicants need not submit music scores of set piece.
- Registration fee and practice session fee (if any).
Grand category
- recent passport size photo of the registered participant.
- 1 set of music scores of the participant’s choice of music piece(s) for preliminary, semi-final & final in PDF. Please ensure the composers’ names and titles of the music pieces can be clearly seen and there is no other mark (except if there is excerpt and needs to be clearly marked). If the choice concerto for final round is from the list provided, no score is required.
- Registration fee.
- Video file of the participants for the preliminary round must be submitted via email to scmc2026@sco.com.sg by 22 July 2026, 5pm. Please see here for the requirement.
Ensemble Category
- 1 set of music scores of the participating group’s choice of music piece(s) in PDF. Please ensure the composers’ names and titles of the music pieces can be clearly seen and there is no other mark (except if there is excerpt and needs to be clearly marked).
- Registration fee and practice session fee (if any).
- The particular of the members for Ensemble Section must be submitted using this template and email to scmc2026@sco.com.sg by 22 July 2026, 5pm to complete the registration.

PRACTICE VENUE BOOKING FEES
Each participant and ensemble may book one practice session to rehearse at the Competition venue prior to the Competition (subjected to availability). The booking fees (inclusive of 9% GST) are as follows:

Refer to application form for the timeslots of the respective categories.
Practice session bookings, except for Solo section Grand category, must be made together with the Competition registration forms. The Organiser reserves the right to change the timeslots booked by the participants.
Practice session for Solo section Grand category will be opened for booking after results of the preliminary round is released on 28 August 2026. Instructions will be given separately to semi-finalists.
The duration of the practise session inclusive of bump-in and bump-out time.
The booking fee is non-refundable.
Practice session bookings are strictly non-transferable.
